.....I'm to be showing some Whitefriars glass - primarily G Baxter - in the library in Uxbridge, Middlesex. It starts on Saturday October the 29th and lasts for a week until the following Friday. It's not by any stretch of the imagination a big thing or posh affair - the library is small but has a glass atrium which lets in natural light whereas other small venues in Harrow and Ickenham were too dark.

If you'd like to come along hop on a Piccadilly Line tube - Uxbridge is the end of one of the branches (the other is Heathrow) The Metropolitan Line is the usual route but is currently undergoing maintenance over the weekends which interrupts part of the journey so it's best to avoid it. I'm afraid I'm not a driver but know that the A40 will hook you up to a road that takes you to the town centre and to parking areas. Ask anyone and they'll direct you to the library - it's just across from the 'Chimes' shopping mall and about a 1 minute walk from the tube and bus stations. Please don't hesitate to ask if you need further info. PinkyX
